Master the Genghis Khan Pokie: Australia's Guide to Playing Online
I've spent plenty of time at the pokies in Australian pubs and clubs, and when Dragon Link titles hit the venues, punters know something's different. Genghis Khan is one of the standout entries in that family — a high-volatility game that combines Aristocrat's signature linked-style mechanics with multiplying wilds that can turn a modest free-games session into something seriously rewarding.
Genghis Khan Pokies — Dragon Link Power Meets Massive Multipliers
If you've chased the Dragon Link experience on a pub machine, you'll recognize that same scalable bonus structure and those cash-on-reels symbols that keep the adrenaline going. Now you can play it online with the same thrill, minus the waiting for the pokie next to the bar.

What Makes Genghis Khan Special
The Dragon Link system is what draws serious pokies players in, and Genghis Khan leverages it brilliantly. You get that linked-style play where bonus prizes scale with your stake — bet a few dollars, and the free-games trigger feels genuine; bump up your bet, and the potential payout grows with it. It's the same philosophy you'd find on a land-based machine, except the online version runs faster and you don't have to jostle for a seat.
What really grabbed me about this title is the multiplying wild mechanic during free games. Aristocrat's stacked 2x wilds can layer up to a 16x multiplier across your reels, and that's where Genghis Khan separates itself from gentler Dragon Link cousins. Cash-on-reels symbols add another dimension too — you're not just chasing lines; you're hunting for guaranteed payouts that appear right on the reels. In my experience, that keeps the game feeling dynamic even when the base game is quiet. I'd recommend this one if you love volatility and can handle dry spells, because when the free games do land and those wilds stack, the payoff is genuinely worth it.

Is Genghis Khan Right for You?
Pros:
- Massive multiplier potential**
- The 16x stacked wild mechanic offers genuine excitement during free games, especially on higher stakes.
- Scalable bonus structure**
- Bet size directly influences your prize pools, so you're always playing for prizes matched to your stake.
- Proven Dragon Link framework**
- If you've won on other titles in the series at your local pub, you know the mechanics work.
Cons:
- High volatility means dry runs: You can spin the base game a long time without triggering free games, which isn't for every punter.
- RTP unknown: Aristocrat hasn't published the exact return percentage, so you're flying a bit blind on long-term expectations.
- Not confirmed everywhere: While Dragon Link is popular across Australian venues, Genghis Khan's specific placement in pubs and clubs isn't universal, so availability varies by venue.
